5/17/09 Sun: FIRST PULL UP TO STAND and walker

Jayden's teeth are coming in like crazy now! He's got 4 coming in on top and the two at the bottom are fully out. His little toothy grins make Mommy smile!

This morning Jayden surprised Mommy buy pulling himself up to a stand from a sitting position! He's growing so fast and getting so strong! Pretty soon Mommy is going to be running trying to keep up with Jayden!

Here you see Jayden in his first walker! Since Mommy still doesn't have a job, Mommy couldn't go buy a walker for Jayden. Thankfully our neighbors offered to let us borrow theirs till their new Grandchild is born! Jayden LOVES the walker, and relishes running over Mommy and Daddy's toes while chasing them in the kitchen!

Jayden is also shown playing on the bathroom floor while Mommy brushes her teeth. This blue hippo that Mommy got for him at his baby shower is Jayden's favorite bath toy!

5/13/09 Wed: Lake Redman

It was a beautiful day out today, so for our weekly fieldtrip we went along with the Mommie's group to Lake Redman. Jayden and Chance had a fun time playing and walking along the water. Here you see Jayden enjoying nature by holding his first flower.

5/10/09 Sun: Mother's Day

This is the first official Mother's Day when Jayden was here to HUG Mommy! Well, technically Jayden was here to hug Mommy last year too, but on the inside...(grin!)

Daddy helped Jayden and Duce make it a wonderful Mother's day for Mommy. They made a picture together, then bought Mommy a flower bush to plant outside. Mommy was very thankful and felt so loved by Jayden and her furbaby Duce!

That afternoon everyone was invited for a cookout at Grampy's house, where he cooked up a wonderful meal on the grill for the Moms of the family.

5/8/09 Sat: Kid's Show

There was a Kid and Baby Expo at the York Expo Center today. Last year at this time Mommy was pregnant with Jayden, and we went along with our friends who were also expecting exactly 13 weeks later than Mommy. Mommy and Daddy thought it would be fun to go along with their friends now that Jayden and Alexis are here!

We all had a fun time, and as you can see Doug and Brad were the "baby carriers". We laughed that Jen and Mommy had to carry the babies last time, so this time it's up to the men. They had a great time with it and Mommy got this great photo of Daddy and Jayden pretending to tandom parachute! (Mommy did a quick Photoshop job of a parachute behind them to make it look more authentic!)

After the expo, we all sat in the livingroom and watched the kids play with this neato Leapfrog table that Daddy found at a yard sale for $4! It looks brand new! Just one little part missing, but Jayden and Alexis don't seem to mind!

5/6/09 Wed: Rocky Ridge

Today for our weekly field trip, Mommy, Grammy, Auntie K and Chance went to Rocky Ridge to play the afternoon away. It was a little dreary and muggy out, but we still had fun. Jayden LOVED the outdoors, and spotted many birds and bugs.

Here you see Grammy, Chance and Auntie K playing on the gym. Also there is a shot of Aunti K and Chance having a sword battle. Just wait till Jayden can join in that fun!

The photo of Jayden is Mommy's most FAVORITE pose. Jayden loves to look at everything at different angles. Often he will inspect an item from a distance and turn his head this way and that. It's too cute, so Mommy had to get a picture of it!

Also Mommy had to get a picture of Jayden with one of Grammy's fun wigs on. It was in the car so Mommy had to take advantage of the photo opp!
